St Wendreda's line of sight to Ely Cathedral.
View north up Church St. and over the Cavalry Barn estate. St Peter's spire in the town can be seen at left. The wind turbines on the horizon are 3½ miles away.
The Coldham wind turbines on the horizon 3½ miles (5.6km) away.
The view south down Church Street.
The view over the cemetery to the north-west.
from the west side of the tower : the view south and west
from the SW corner : 270 degree panorama from east to north
(As can be seen: the engineering brick reinforcements have narrowed the walkway such that passage is difficult. The previous picture was taken from about half way along to the right.

from the NW corner of the tower : panorama from west to north-east over the town
(I stood here for some time before taking this while waiting for the disturbing effect of the tower's movement to subside.)
Ascending the tower we pass two small doors, the first to the clock, the second to the belfry, giving a rare look inside at the bells.
