Archangel Michael, protector and leader of the army of God against the forces of evil, stands between St Etheldreda and St Wendreda.

(In the New Testament Book of Revelation Michael leads God's armies against Satan's forces, where during the war in heaven, he defeats Satan.)

St Wendreda's Church, March : Nth window : Edmund Whittome welcomed to heaven along with his mother Mary Ann and father John

Presumed to depict Edmund Whittome, kneeling, being welcomed into heaven along with his mother Mary Ann who, the dates suggest,

possibly died in childbirth, making Edmund 43 years old, along with his father John, standing at right.

Note the crying child in the bottom right corner with another consoling her. Do these represent Edmund's children?

"Come and be gathered together."  "In my father's house are many mansions. If it were not so I would have told you."
