| G06 ~ from the White Pike cairn: the Pennines on the horizon immersed in dense purple haze due to a temperature inversion at around 4000ft. This made for atmospheric conditions making it difficult for the three paragliders to get airborne much less make a sustained flight. At last they made it and we left them flying off over the moorland towards Great and Little Mell Fells. |
