Whiteless Pike is nearest, Rannerdale directly below, Crummock Water at right; Buttermere is centre with the High Stile ridge above.
Pillar and Scoat Fell behind and beyond High Stile; the Scafells the high tops in the distance, centre-left.
Th obvious dark crag at the head of Buttermere is Fleetwith Pike with the Honister Pass to Keswick passing below it.
Above it the little peaks in the far distance are the Coniston Fells.
